• North Sydney's Greenwood Plaza To Redevelop The Atrium Dining Precinct

Greenwood Plaza has commenced its $9 million development of its food court precinct, to be known as The Atrium. The development is in response to customer feedback and increasing demand for quality casual dining in the area.

The Centre’s owners, Mirvac Group and TH Real Estate, confirmed that it will be ‘business as usual’ at the busy Centre throughout the building program, with no impact to commuter access through to North Sydney Train Station. The development is expected to be completed in March 2016.

The development includes an upgrade to existing retail tenancies and an increase from 11 food court tenancies to 16. The dining experience for customers will be improved as a result of refurbishment to seating areas and ambient treatments to ceilings, floors, lighting and furniture.

Mirvac’s Development Manager – Retail, Albert Messaike, said the new development was part of Mirvac’s ongoing commitment to provide North Sydney with a premier retail and lifestyle destination.

“Greenwood Plaza caters to both the residents and workers of North Sydney, so The Atrium has been planned to meet the needs of these customers. Following the upgrades to the amenities and seating areas of the Centre in 2013, we are now keen to provide customers with a new and enjoyable place to spend lunchtimes, hold meetings and grab a bite to eat,” Mr Messaike said.
“The Atrium at Greenwood Plaza will be an escape from the daily rush, a place for workers to unwind with colleagues and for families to meet and relax.”
