Cherrybrook Village is pleased to announce it has received development approval from Hornsby Shire Council for its proposed future development plans, including the reconfiguration of the existing car park, to improve access and egress.
The approval of Cherrybrook Village’s development application is the first step in an ongoing and long-term masterplan for the centre.
Mirvac Retail’s Development Manager, Melissa Kaczmarek, said that the development approval meant they could now look at programming the works to inform customers, in the near future, about confirmed works.
“Our long-term vision for Cherrybrook Village is to create an easily accessible and convenient shopping destination for the community and securing development approval for the car park is the first step in making this a reality.
“We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience of our customers both within and outside of the Centre. With amenities upgrade works currently underway, and due for completion end of September, we can now move to the car park which will significantly improve our customers’ journey to and from the centre.
“We look forward to communicating the proposed start date, to our community and retailers, once they are confirmed.” Ms Kaczmarek said.
