Mirvac’s Broadway in Sydney has today announced the first of their new food residents; international player Din Tai Fung, Zeus Street Greek, Pepper Seeds Thai and Sushi Hon, who will open in August as part of the centre’s newly renovated food and fashion precinct on Level 2. The redeveloped Level 2 is due to be unveiled in its entirety this Spring, with over ten more mouth-watering food offerings to be announced over the coming months.
Dendy Harjanto, Australasian Director of Din Tai Fung, commented "We are very excited to be bringing our famous dumplings to Broadway and to be a part of the Level 2 redevelopment alongside the new H&M. Our cafe court will offer all the favourite Din Tai Fung menu items, including our famous Xiao Long Bao, and will be a perfect lunch spot for shoppers."
Alongside Din Tai Fung and Aussie favourite, Sushi Hon, Broadway will also bring inner-west secret gems, Zeus Street Greek and Pepper Seeds Thai, to Level 2.
Mirvac’s Senior Development Manager, Christina Nelson, added, “These restaurants have been the locals’ choice for years and we are thrilled that we have been able to secure these amazing restaurants and introduce them to a whole new audience. This is about fusing the best of international dining greats with popular local haunts to give our customers a really diverse and exciting food offer.”
Din Tai Fung
World-famous for their Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings, Din Tai Fung’s success is due to their scientific precision, consistency and quality taste. Each pork dumpling pastry is delicately handcrafted by the Din Tai Fung dumpling masters to measure between 4.8 and 5.2 grams, and then filled to weigh between 20.8 and 21.2 grams. Made to order, each dumpling is steamed in exactly three minutes before being served straight to your table.
Zeus Street Greek
Hailing from Drummoyne, the Zeus Street Greek philosophy is simple but effective, combining time-honoured methods and family recipes to make real food with integrity, taste and freshness. Honouring their Greek heritage, the Zeus team take joy in bringing their favourite foods to you. Try their signature Purple Greek dish with melt-in-the-mouth lamb, beetroot hummus, onion, chips and parsley.
Pepper Seeds Thai
This hip boutique Thai restaurant offers tantilising, street-inspired South East Asian food. An inner-west favourite with their first restaurant in Balmain, Pepper Seed’s philosophy strives to deliver perfection on every plate for every palate, and combines their culinary techniques, knowledge of Thai spices and love of fresh produce to create an unforgettable culinary experience.
Pioneers of the contemporary art of sushi, Sushi Hon are all about enhancing natural ingredients and exclusively use award-winning sashimi grade Huon Salmon, delivered fresh every morning 365 days a year. Sushi may be their main game, but there are plenty of other authentic Japanese cuisine favourites on the menu including their mouth-watering Ramen soup containing two types of miso and their homemade chicken broth.
Din Tai Fung, Zeus Street Greek, Pepper Seeds Thai and Sushi Hon are among the first of a high profile list of food brands to be announced by the Centre’s owners, Mirvac and Perron Group. With a focus on securing premium local and international retailers, such as global retailer H&M, the newly revitalised Level 2 will further enhance Broadway’s position as the premier urban shopping and dining destination in Sydney.
